Restoration Through Targeted Civil Engineering Solutions
The project involved restoring damaged concrete surfaces and strengthening load-bearing elements. We applied structural-grade materials and techniques such as epoxy grouting, crack filling, and protective coatings to mitigate further degradation. Methodology
- Structural Cleaning: Removal of loose concrete, laitance, and biological growth using chiseling, wire brushing, and water jetting.
- Crack Treatment: Injection of epoxy resin to seal structural cracks and restore integrity.
- Surface Profiling & Repairs: Application of repair mortars to rebuild spalled sections and honeycombs.
- Protective Coating: Anti-carbonation coating applied over rehabilitated surfaces to prevent future environmental deterioration.
- Final Inspection: Quality assurance through systematic inspections and testing for bond strength and coating durability.
